I have worked with Chris Evans on many occassions at a Financial Blue Chip Company.   Chris was the leading technical SAN resource in the Storage group regionally.   The main trouble shooter, any “show-stopping technical issues” Chris Evans was and is the man to call.   Chris was or is the main architech for designing the present SAN in this Financial institute. So I cannot praise this gentlemans technical abilties for Storage knowledge…high enough. He’s at the top level technically of SAN/Storage knowledge in the IT industry.   As a person very approachable, and very independant, although always a team player, can be very resourceful, needs little dependancies.

All round likable person.

Chris and I working with numerous international teams and solution architects have spent the last year addressing a plethora of challenges with backup and storage for Norsk Hydro through multiple projects. During this time Chris’s expertise has been invaluable as the estate has required a lot of management implementing new solutions, fixing poorly configured environments, documenting processes, training staff and project managing deployments. Chris has also worked very closely with specific customer sites walking them through new design offerings to improve their capability allowing for easier day to day management, addressing scalability and improving operational efficiency. Chris’s depth and breadth of knowledge is something to behold as he possess the ability to quickly assess and recommend solutions. Chris is methodical, pragmatic and calming in demanding situations which has been paramount with this customer.
